A chairde, Tá Comharchumann Forbartha Mhúscraí ag éascú Plean Gníomhaíochta 5 Bliana don cheantar Ghaeltacht Mhúscraí 2023 – 2027.
Tá próiseas comhairliúcháin ar siúl agus beidh cruinniú poiblí i mBéal Átha an Ghaorthaidh oíche Luain. Tá teimpléad ann, bunaithe ar na réimsí luaithe sa fógra. Beidh suirbhé ar líne chomh maith agus beidh físeáin againn ag déanamh achoimre ar na pleananna straitéiseacha atá sa cheantar cheana féin (Plean Oidhreacht Mhúscraí, Plean Teanga Mhúscraí, Plean Turasóireachta Mhúscraí). Bheimid buíoch as do thuairimí agus do mholtaí.
PUBLIIC MEETING – Monday 28th Nov at 8pm Gteic
Comharchumann Forbartha Mhúscraí is facilitating a public consulation on developing a 5 Year Action Plan (2023-2027) for Gaeltacht Mhúscraí. There will be a public meeting in Béal Átha an Ghaorthaidh on Monday night. There is a template which is based on the themes listed below in the notice. There will also be an online survery and short videos providing a summary of the existing plans in the area (Múscraí Heritage Plan, Múscraí Language Plan and the Tourism Action Plan). We would really value your input, thoughts on what are should be the priorities in the short to medium to long term.

Má bhfuil suim ag éinne déan teagmháil le colaistenamumhan@gmail.com chun tuilleadh eolais faoi na deontais a fháil. Beidh cúpla tithe riachtanach chun cúrsaí 2023 a rith.
2. Oibreacha ar an Óstán
Táimid ag caint leis an Rialtas faoi láthair faoi uasdhátú a dhéanamh ar fhoirgnimh an óstáin ionas go mbeadh lóistín & campas nua-aimseartha againn ag dul ar aghaidh sa todhchaí.
3. Bainisteoir
Tá chomhlacht earcaíochta ag obair ar ár son ag an bpointe seo chun bainisteoir nua a fhostú.
4. Plean Forbartha
Tá an chomhlacht 2into3 ag deireadh a gcuid oibre leis an bPlean Forbartha & seolfar an Plean go luath.
5. Bord Bainistíochta
Tá an chomhlacht céanna ag obair ar bhaill le taithí & scileanna faoi leith a earcú chun teacht ar an mbord bainistiochta.

We would greatly appreciate any contribution to our annual appeal which takes place on the 10th and 11th of December. There will be a second collection at all masses that weekend. This year there are also envelopes available in the church porches which can be returned to church baskets, posted or given to any SVP member.

Portrait Photography
Peter Cox is working on a 19th century wet plate photography process . He is going to start offering it commercially for portraits, but wants to get some practice handling multiple people in a queue for sittings. He is thinking of getting Cuan Barra for a few hours next Saturday and offering heavily discounted sittings/demonstration to locals. Say €20/head (commercial prices would be about €100-€120).

You are invited to join with SECAD, local communities and expert speakers for an exciting and critically important discussion about how communities and key service providers in Cork can actively support the aims and ambitions agreed by world leaders during COP 27. This event will take place on 30th November 2022 at the Radisson Hotel Little Island, 4pm-8pm. We will be joined by leaders in the field of sustainability including Dr Tara Shine and Mindy O’ Brien. Tara has advised world leaders and international organisations on climate change and sustainable development and Mindy is Chief Executive with VOICE Ireland, one of Irelands and Europe’s fastest growing member-based environmental charities.
